Experience French & Mottershead’s moving audio art work Woodland, describing your body’s slow fade into the leaf litter of the forest floor. This work connects you deeply to your body, and considers the biological and chemical processes that continue long after you are conscious, as you are gently subsumed by the earth over thousands of years.

Using spoken narrative with insights from forensic anthropologists and ecologists, Woodland is a gentle confrontation of mortality and an invitation to imagine our body’s return to the soil over an epic length of time.

Woodland is an outdoor piece. Please remember to wear appropriate / waterproof clothing and sensible shoes. Details on the exact meeting location will be sent out to ticket holders a week before the event.

This works contains content that younger visitors may find disturbing. Recommended 14+, or by parental guidance.

Time slots are every 30 mins.
