Stories to Remember: Death and Memory in the Jewellery Quarter

May 16 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Do you like writing?
Are you interested in stories less told?
Would you like to be published?
This is an invitation to be part of an exciting project to discover more about the lives of the working-class people who were buried in the ‘common graves’ at Key Hill Cemetery. After hearing about and discussing approaches to funerals past and present, you will work to develop pieces of writing based on those buried at Key Hill. No experience necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm and creativity!
This is a free event, but booking is essential. Visit the website to book and for further details: https://www.caringforgodsacre.org.uk/our-digital-ancestors-events/
(until 3pm or 5pm if attending complimentary tour of Key Hill Cemetery)
