Join us on this walk around Lozells and Handsworth, learning about the rich variety of religious communities who live alongside one another in this small, vibrant area. This is an opportunity to view beautiful religious buildings and explore the rituals and practices following death and bereavement within diverse faiths. We will stop at different places of worship hearing personal stories of what happens in the immediate aftermath of a death, what services are held, how do people mourn and what support is given by the faith community. The walk will be led by Cannon Dr Andrew Smith, the Director of Interfaith Relations for the Bishop of Birmingham.

The trail involves a walk of approximately 2.5 miles.
