Interfaith walk
May 8 @ 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

Join us on this walk in Handsworth, learning about the rich variety of religious communities who live alongside one another in this vibrant area. This is an opportunity to view beautiful religious buildings and explore the rituals and practices following death and bereavement within diverse faiths. We will stop at different places of worship hearing personal stories of beliefs and practices around point of death, what is involved in a funeral and what happens to us after we die. The walk will be led by Cannon Dr Andrew Smith, the Director of Interfaith Relations for the Bishop of Birmingham.
The trail involves a walk of approximately 1 mile.
A free vegetarian lunch will be provided.
There are 12 places available on the walk.
