Life, Death, Poetry
May 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

‘This being human is a guesthouse’ wrote the poet Rumi in The Guest House,
‘I got up and it did not’ wrote the poet Philip Larkin in his poem The Mower.
Poetry has long given voice to the great themes of being human including loss, death and dying, and we will all face the inevitable one day.
Life, Death, Poetry is a space to explore poems about mortality. You are warmly invited to come along and read a poem that you find meaningful or comforting, to ask another to read it on your behalf, to read your own, or simply just to listen.
With Maggie Parsons and the BrumYODO team.
