Open Day at John Taylor Hospice
June 14 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
John Taylor Hospice Open Days give you the chance to visit the hospice and discover more about the many ways its teams support local families.
Taking place between 11am-2pm on Friday 14 June, the event will include talks, activities and lunch. Visitors are free to drop in for a short while or join for the full event.
John Taylor Hospice provides specialist care for people living with a terminal illness and their families. Each person receives ‘Taylor-made’ care which could include visits at their home, a stay at the hospice’s In-Patient Unit, visits to the Living Well Centre day hospice or well-being support.
Hospice Head of Brand and Media Diane Parkes said: “There are so many misunderstandings about hospice care and we have found the best way to overcome them is to simply invite people to come and visit us, meet our staff and ask any questions they would like. Our 2018 Open Day was hugely successful and was enjoyed by visitors and our teams.”
People who came to John Taylor’s last Open Day said: “I think this was very helpful to dispel myths about what a hospice is like,” and “It would be difficult to improve on today.”
More details of the programme will be posted on www.johntaylorhospice.org.uk nearer the time.
Attendance is free but please let the hospice know if you’re attending to ensure they’re catering for you. You can register here or email firstname.lastname@example.org
