Virtual Death Café followed by Q&A on legalities of death
05/11/2020 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
FreeJoin Kath and Lis BrumYODO members at this online Death Cafe.
A Death Cafe is a group of people who join together to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death and dying in a safe and non-judgemental space. It is intended as a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
There will be an opportunity afterwards to discuss legal matters surrounding death and dying with Lis Whybrow who is a Private Client solicitor who was recently working in the Midlands, having been based in Birmingham for 30 years. Her specific passions are care for the elderly and dying as well as sorting out people’s affairs for families after the death of their loved ones. She is happy to discuss general aspects of wills, powers of attorney and probate, especially in the light of the changes in ways we can now interact directly with the public particularly the elderly and those isolating. Please note this session is not intended as a substitute for specific legal advice and should not be viewed as such.
